The Spider Systems IoT (Internet of Things) units are 4G network-based systems, enhanced with Bluetooth for access and management control. Users can control the unit via either a dedicated PalGate app or the remote management easy-to-use web portal. Easy to integrate with electric gates, doors, lighting systems, or any other appliance that would benefit from remote control and management.

The installation of powered gate automation is regulated by the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations which recognises a powered gate as machinery. The law requires that the resulting machine complies with the Essential Health and Safety Requirements of the regulations. Guidance for the required level of safety can be found in the EN 12453
