Designed as a deterrent to restrict access from the outside of the gate, meaning that intruders cannot easily reach round and operate the lock. No fixings are required, simply bolt the shroud on in front of the lock.

The installation of powered gate automation is regulated by the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations which recognises a powered gate as machinery. The law requires that the resulting machine complies with the Essential Health and Safety Requirements of the regulations. Guidance for the required level of safety can be found in the EN 12453
